The $1,000,000 of commercial general liability protects against any bodily injury or property damage claims the owner or manager could be held liable for. Examples would include a guest slip and fall, a dog bite, bed bugs, assault, drowning, fire, invasion of privacy, and more.
There are no deductibles attached to any of our protection plans, which means you and your homeowners get reimbursed from the first dollar.
You will have access to your intuitive client portal where you can submit damages, view past and open damage notices, message the team, and more. To submit a damage notice, simply provide us with photos of the damage, booking details, and any additional information if you have it (receipts, product links, invoices), and the Waivo Damage Team will get to work on it right away.
No, Waivo will never contact your guests or ask you to contact your guests at any point in the damage process. We have removed all guest communication to keep your guests coming back, gain you more 5-star reviews, and put your homeowners’ minds at ease.
The Waivo Damage Team is contractually bound to respond to your damage notice within 2 business days, but most damage is responded to within 24 hours.
WaivoNow
WaivoNow is immediate, so protection and proof of purchase are done online via the online portal. We advise our clients to save the WaivoNow portal in their browser favorites and simply make the purchase part of the booking process.
No. WaivoNow was designed for the independent host with 10 or fewer bookings per month. We do encourage protection on all bookings, but it’s not required.
Yes, the WaivoNow portal will save your property details and credit card information, so repeat purchases are streamlined.
Waivo Enterprise
Because of Waivo’s unique approach, protection can be implemented into the business almost immediately. After your agreement is signed, your dedicated Account Executive will work with you to get your protection program up and running ASAP.
Yes, most hosts and managers use Waivo damage protection in lieu of a security deposit, so guests are willing to pay a small non-refundable fee for damage protection. The Waivo+ liability insurance product can’t be marked up in price.
The Waivo Enterprise pricing model is volume-based, so the more bookings you have, the better pricing you get.
Waivo+ Liability Insurance
No. Many property owners carry the appropriate home insurance with liability that covers them and the manager, so Waivo+ would be duplicate coverage. Most managers only use Waivo+ on properties that do not have a certificate of insurance (COI).
The $1,000,000 of commercial general liability provided by our Waivo+ liability insurance does not contain an exclusion for animal pet liability. Therefore, coverage is in place, and the policy would respond.
There is no invasion of privacy exclusion in +Liability’s $1,000,000 of commercial general liability, therefore coverage exists, and the policy would respond.
There is no bed bug liability exclusion in +Liability’s $1,000,000 of commercial general liability, therefore coverage exists, and the policy would respond.
